Hilti Fleet Management: Prudêncio’s new partnership for greater productivity and sustainability

That is why, as part of a continuous journey of innovation and operational efficiency, we have established a new strategic partnership with Hilti, a global reference in construction tools and solutions.
In 2025, we carried out a joint Productivity Analysis process, with the aim of assessing the performance of our equipment, the costs associated with its maintenance, and the impact on our teams’ day-to-day work on site. The result? A profound and structured change in the way we manage our assets.


A more efficient and sustainable model
The transition to the Hilti Fleet Management model followed an in-depth analysis, carried out jointly and guided by the Hilti team. This work made it possible to identify concrete opportunities for optimizing asset management and increasing the productivity of our teams.
The process involved a detailed survey of our machinery fleet, which until then consisted of equipment from 10 different brands, sourced from 10 different suppliers.
By adopting Fleet Management, we replaced all existing equipment with a new 100% Hilti fleet, fully tailored to our operational needs.
This new model translates into clear benefits:
- Lighter, more powerful and more efficient equipment
- A drastic reduction in downtime
- More controlled and predictable operating costs
- Greater sustainability and alignment with the circular economy
Concrete results: more productivity, lower costs
The analysis carried out by Hilti demonstrated real time gains and cost reductions across several work fronts. Here are some concrete examples:
- In insulation board fastening, the new solution delivered a 27% improvement, with an estimated annual saving of €12,830 and 1,425 hours.
- In metal cutting, a 28% improvement was recorded.
- In concrete drilling, productivity increased by 33%.
- Execution times and safety in critical tasks were significantly improved.
- We now benefit from fast repairs, with no unexpected costs, including tool collection and delivery directly on site within just 3 days.
Overall, this change resulted in significant productivity gains, greater operational predictability, and a consistent reduction in costs throughout the year, driven by the optimization of critical on-site tasks.

A vision for the future
More than simply increasing productivity, this model redefines how we manage our equipment. With Hilti’s service, we benefit from:
- Repairs included, with simplified logistics (collection and delivery anywhere, within 3 working days)
- Theft coverage with fast replacement and no bureaucratic burden
- Guaranteed preventive maintenance, avoiding efficiency losses
- Access to more sustainable equipment, integrated into a circular economy model
This last point is particularly relevant: Hilti commits to collecting the equipment at the end of the contract and ensuring its reuse or recycling, reducing CO₂ emissions and preventing the waste of critical materials.

António Santos and Ricardo Matos, Prudêncio operatives, highlighted the speed, lightness and reduced vibration of the new equipment, as well as the practicality of battery-powered systems, which eliminate cables and increase safety.
