In the rehabilitation of the shed-type metal roof of this building, we started by reinforcing the fixings of the existing metal sheets and we used a mixed system of thermal insulation and waterproofing TPO, in which the KÖSTER membrane was glued to the insulation, to avoid fixing the membrane to the aluminum plate, that was weak.

Therefore, the TPO KÖSTER 1.5 F membrane was used, with an additional polyester coating on the inner face, which, in addition to giving it greater resistance, allows it to be bonded to the thermal insulation with the KÖSTER PUR polyurethane adhesive.
A complex job to carry out, not only due to the configuration it presents, but also due to the low strength aluminum sheets, based on a lightened metallic structure, of which the cover was composed, which imposed the use of special security methods.
